*All Non-exclusive World Serial Rights means that the publisher has the right to publish the work in newspapers, magazines, and other serial publications throughout the world, any number of times. You retain all other rights, such as the right to reproduce the work, to use it as a chapter in a book, etc. Because this is a non-exclusive right, you may also grant other publishers the right to publish the work, however, you cannot grant them exclusive serial rights.
*Non-exclusive Electronic Rights means that the publisher has the right to include the work in any type of electronic publication, such as CD-ROM, websites, ezines, or an electronic database. Again, because this is a non-exclusive right, anyone else may also use the work in an electronic publication, but you cannot grant them exclusive electronic rights. |
